Remote Unpairing Procedure

Follow this process to unpair a bike that is paired with another unknown or unavailable device.

Step 1: Collect a photo of the serial number QR code/or record the serial number of the bike frame.

Step 2: Take a photo of the pairing QR code on the display of the bike.

Step 3: Contact Aventon customer support and provide the pairing QR code as well as the serial number or the serial number QR code.

Step 4: The Aventon support team will submit the provided info in order to have the bike remotely unpaired.

Step 5: Aventon support will contact the shop/bike owner. Once the bike is unpaired, the user can then reattempt the pairing procedure.

 

Note: If the bike has a password and the bike's pairing QR code is not accessible, an Aventon dealer will need to assist following the instructions of the Password Reset & QR Code Generating Procedures
 utilizing the Aventon SynergE app to generate a new pairing QR code. Once a new pairing QR code is generated, continue with step 2 above.
