At Aventon, we’re committed to manufacturing e-bikes and accessories of the highest quality. As a precautionary measure, we’ve sent out a set of four rear rack spacers to all Aventure.2 and Pace 350.3/500.3 owners. This part should be connected to the rear rack to eliminate the gap
between the rear rack platform and its supports. We’ve taken this measure not because of any safety issues regarding these bikes but because we’re dedicated to the quality and longevity of our product
Detailed below are the instructions on how to install the four spacer pieces (if needed, Aventon will reimburse labor cost for a bike shop to install the spacers).
Not all models of the Aventure.2 and Pace 350.3/500.3 require a spacer installation. If your rear rack plate makes full contact with the rear rack brackets, the spacers are unnecessary. |
