Walk mode on Aventon Ebikes is a feature that can be used if you need some assistance while walking the bike (usually used up a slight incline). When walk mode is engaged, it will apply power to the rear wheel in a very minimal and controlled way that will allow you to easily move the weight of the bike.
To engage walk mode, the bike needs to be powered on. Next press the "+" button (Figure 1a/ 1b) to change the current PAS mode from "0"/"off" to a mode of "1"/"eco" or higher (Figure 2a/ 2b). Once the PAS mode is in 1-5 or eco-turbo, the motor will now be able to be able to engage walk mode. Simply press and hold down the "-" button and walk mode will engage (Figure 3a/ 3b). You will notice the bike beginning to creep forward and there will be a "walk" icon on the display screen Figure 4a/ 4b). Walk mode will stay active as long as you hold down the "-" button. To disengage, simply release your thumb from holding down the "-" button and the bike will no longer move.
